Babies have very short attention spans yes. Babies have very short attention spans and will likely only remember three things. What they really love. What they really hate. What is consistent throughout their lifes. Think of this as a baby being presented with 4 toys. The binky soothed them and they liked that feeling so they constantly remember to suck on the binky. The toy car was fun but then they saw the ring tower and then the building blocks and so on. The last toy was a toy laptop that pinched their fingers. They don't lile the laptop now because they remembe rit with hurt. The baby then saw the toy keyboard and they really love the sounds it made so they remember the feeling of being happy with it. (All the scenarios are random amd I sincerely hope noone takes this as how babies truly remember. The scenarios were to put into perspective.) Babies need to be constanly held and reminded they are loved and taught repeatedly about information. (I've had to tell my baby cousion probably a hundred times how to say sky while pointing at it which she then took to saying sky to anything above her eye sight and that every color was purple except for pink.) ❤️
